Arkil Ltd operates an integrated Environmental and Health and Safety Management system to ISO 14001 international standards to which we are certified at all three of our sites.
Arkil is committed to providing a safe working environment for all of its employees and members of the public and also protecting the surrounding Environment while also producing high quality Asphalt Macadam and Aggregate materials. Through an innovative Effective Software Health and safety management system Arkil can control all aspects of Health and Safety. This combined with on the ground monitoring of risk and safety to the environment and employees helps Arkil minimise the possibility of incidents and accidents occurring. Safety is paramount during the production of our Asphalt Macadam and our Aggregate materials. Arkil also use the an expert consultancy firm SLR to advise us on environmental matters and carry out environmental audits of the company’s premises and quarrying activities.
