Arkil Ltd working on behalf of Clonmel Enterprises & the TII recently carried out Re-Surfacing works & Patching to three Bridge Decks on the M8. Works were carried out under a very tight programme and our element of the works had to be completed in 4 shifts in order to reopen the complete Motorway to Live Traffic in advance of the weekend. There was a combimation of materials used here including 10mm SMA to the new TII spec, HDM Binder & HDM Base. Areas of the Pavement were also reinforced with an Asphalt Geogrid.
